Yes the paddles were hand's down the best mod we did for the sand..I started with sandstar's and they are not worth a crap on the wolverine i think they were worse then the sock tires ..then i pick up a set of 23X10.5X12 skat trak hauler's for a great price and picked them up..Now she can go anywhere she is willing to go.. I have even took it up some hill's i never thought it would make it up and with the 23's the 4X4 still work's great and help's on the steep stuff..They are way over kill on paddles.. Her next set will be 6 paddles... the one's on there now are 10 so it rob's some top end but they still work great

Here are a few older pic's of it

Now you have me thinking about ordering a set for mine. Probably 75% of my riding is at the dunes, so I'm sure it wouldnt hurt to have these.

I may look into ordering two more wheels and a set of these before spring. I have never had any real problems getting up any of the hills at Silver Lake, but when the sand is really dry, I have had to take a few attempts at "Test Hill".

So are you happy with the skat trak hauler's? Just maybe a 6 paddle design instead of the 10's? My 440 ex has 10 paddle tires on it, and I have never been stuck on that...but it has a lot of power.

I go through these guy's they are great to deal with and good prices..I got mine off ebay that is why they are 10 paddles..If you order them you can tell them how many paddles you want..

She has never been stuck sense we put them on...I think they are worth then money..if you get them post up what you think of them..It makes the dunes alot more fun in my opinion..I am just guessing on 6 paddles but i think between 6 or 7 would be the way to go...If you look i got the wider offset wheel's for the sand tire's and it made it more stable, you don't have the brake disk protected by the wheel doing this but we have never had a problem with it in the sand...

Just something to think about when it comes to paddles.... The shape of the paddle determines what that tire is best for... the haulers have a straight paddle and they are great for straight running but not the best for hitting the bowls in the dunes... The v paddles do not grip as much in the straights but let you slide out in the bowls more...I run Sandstars on my Banshee and love them... I also run Sandstars on the front to let me turn that much better...

of course this is just my opinion I could be wrong...
