Welcome to forums nkdurrett.
So ya, I'd say take it back to the dealer and make them fix it but, you probably just voided your warranty huh?

Sounds like it's a timing issue. From what I here it's easy to miss align to cam teeth and chain. Were you sure you got the cam moved 1 notch only?

id just backtrack and check things. check your intake boot for leaks that could cause a prob like that besides that it still sounds lime a timing issue.

well the best thing to do, since the cam mod is so easy is just put the cams back to stock...when it starts and runs again, then retard the cam...you are retarding the exh. cam 1 tooth the clockwise direction.

also, this happened to my buddy that when they took the chain off entirely, the rotated the crank 180 degrees, according to them, it backfired and wouldn't start. If you did do that, and took the chain all the way off, then rotated the crank, this might be your problem as well...in doing the cam mod the chain should not have come all the way off though, so you should be good...none the less, try what i said up there ^...good luck

If it has stock jetting, that is probably the problem. It likes a bit more fuel with the cam mod, and the jetting is super lean from the factory.
