How to fix this problem for my 660 grizzly
#1
everyday that its cold outside i start up my wheeler and its hard to start but then i have the problem of it back fireing in high gear then i noticed ice was coming out of the carburator how do we get that ice out or prevent it from doing that

Plus cold air makes for leaner mixtures, which might also explain the hard starting and back fire on let off. If the valves are in spec, try going 1/4 turn richer on the mixture screw.

check this first.its out of my repair manual.
engine backfires
1) pilot mixture screw adjusted too lean
2)air leaks into exaust system
3)inoperative air cut-off valve(backfiring during deceleration) located on side of carb.its a cover with 2 screws.
4)damaged ignition pickup coil(also check ignition timing)
HOPE THIS HELPS
