Default 04 Blaster play toy

Instead of selling my daughter's 04 Blaster I'm going to turn it into a play toy for me until my son is big enough for it. Everything is stock, including those hideous and unstable rear tires.

My plan is to put on 2+ a-arms, jet, air-filter, rear tires, and maybe suspension for a smoother ride to include minor jumping.

So my question is what are your opinions and where can I get used a-arms to meet my wants?

A good upgrade for the rear is installing Warrior/Banshee rear hubs and 9" rear rims. The hubs slide right onto the Blaster axle and will allow you to run 9" rims, which will give you a lot more choices for rear tires. In my opinion you won't find a better tite than the Holeshot GNCC. They are heavy duty 6 ply, lightweight, and hook up in anything. You can get used hubs for $40 off of Ebay. The tires are around $85 apiece.

i put z400 rear shock on, banshee front shocks, 3+1 a arms, banshee axle and many other stuff .i got most from e bay. the shocks made an unbelievable difference. rydin/dirty is a great site for these and other how to mods. welcome to the forum! as for tires i bought holeshot knockoffs, nanco brand. they are great. maybe not the best but for a 4 ply tire at $40. i cant complain.

Lots of places selling a-arms these days. You should be able to get some "sport" aftermarket arms for $3-400.00 brand new even. For tires, the original razrs are a great buy. Tough and durable with plenty of traction for a Blaster. You can pick up rears for about $45.00/tire. Other than that you may want to look up some Yamaha/Blaster specific sites for other ideas as to what will fit. A lot of those places also have for sale sections of the forums, with a little patience you can probably get about anything needed that way.
