05 blaster electrical

Default 05 blaster electrical

my blaster is has black plastics and i wanted to put red led lights under the plasctics but the blaster dont have a battery to run it so how could i do this i was thinking of buying a 12v battery and putting a on/off switch but i dont kno how long that will last can some one help

Default 05 blaster electrical

the blasters actually come with a light. i believe the front is 45 watts and the rear is 5 watts. i removed the stock lights and added a 55 watt halogen in the front with no rear light. it works perfect. the factory stator can handle the lights with no battery. you just need to find the wires under your hood. good luck

Default 05 blaster electrical

Yeah you would be better off to run them off of the Blaster's electrical wiring. Maybe you could tap into the wiring going to the factory light switch, then go to your own switch, then out to your red lights. The engine would have to be running to run the lights.
