blaster problem

Well thats an interesting one. Exactly what is "everything"? You could probably cuase that by putting some gears in wrong. Theoretically a 2 stroke motor could run backwards. I think its even been used for reverse on a quad. However if the electronics on a Blaster are the same as all the 2 stroke quads Ive worked on it would run terrible if it did. Therefore if the motor runs good I would suspect gears are in the wrong place.

I think I remember a few years back this happened to someone on this forum. I think the guy swapped some wiring by accident on the starter, he switched it back and it fixed the problem. You might do a search for it on here.
Two strokes run great backwards. They don't care which way they run.

The mechanical parts may not care but the electronics will. If the crankshaft spins backward so will the flywheel/magneto which would cause the sparkplug to fire after TDC instead of before which would not be too good for performance.
