Warrior stator test
After rebuilding my carb two weekends ago, my warrior had no spark. I'm thinking it could possibly be a stator problem. Unfortunately, it's still at my in-laws. I need to be able to describe to my father in-law where the connector is to test the pickup and source coil resistance. Based on the clymer and yamaha service manual, I gathered the connector was near the airbox, under the seat. But he's telling me there is no 4-wire connector in that area.
Can someone tell me where the connector is located to have him test. I'm running out of time before we go to WV to ride. BTW it's a 97 if that helps.

Just get him to follow the wires from the stator cover until it meets a connector, that's as simple as it's going to get. Different years had the connector in different areas too I think. Some had the connector down close to the stator, and other ones had the connector right at the main wiring harness (if I remember correctly)
