Default buying a 2008 raptor 700... i have questions??

ok im gonna call on that right now, my next question is does it really help the performance alot? i mean is this modd worth doing in your opnion, and if i get this and the lid that you sugjested, and install both do i have to take it in and have it tuned or anything to run correctly, i just dont want to install anything that will need adjustments made afterwords, lol im not a mechanic by no means so i need to keep it simple.

You will notice a little difference with the intake and PCIII. You will notice it most when you do the exhaust. But for the mean time just take the spark arrestor out of the stock exhaust and you will notice a difference. As far as installation and setting it up. Its all plug and play. If you have a computer which obviously you do, when you get your powercommander, you go onto their website and chose the map that fits you best. They do have a map for the setup you will be using. You download it onto your computer then, plug your computer into the powercommander, click upload map, click on the save map that you downloaded, and it will update it into the commander. After that, its all done.

Thay do run lean to start with. I wouldn't do any exhaust/air mods without getting a controller.

It will run fine without it until all of a sudden when you least expect it MELTDOWN/BOOM!!
