Leave the oil injection on, unless you plan on racing it or something it will work just fine. Had an 89 that always had the oil inj hooked up and still on its original stock top end, with around 135-140lbs of compression. Also pre-mixing is a hassle, alot easier to just pull up to the pumps..

The throttle limiter is nice to slow it down, but it has one fault. If you need more power to get out of trouble, it's not there anymore! Also I do a lot of slow woods riding on mine and I have never ever fouled a plug! I also do not use the injection system. It's junk. I premix at 32 to 1 and have never had a problem. Just be sure to use a quality 2 stroke oil, not $0.99 walmart special. I use Klotz Techniplate or even Yamalube is ok. Ride on!
