Is it normal for there to be just a slight hesitation on throttle response on a grizzly? It seems when you mash the throttle at first, it kinda boggs alittle before breaking loose.

I think so. My Kodiak does the same thing

Install a K&N or a Uni-Filter, you'll lose most of that.
