Is Raptor fast enough ?
#21
Hey Guys !
Thanks for all the input, I appreciate you sharing your experience and opinions with me. I have made up my mind, I'll buy a raptor and here is why. 4 strokes put power to the ground. When I had my 400ex w/trac-cam, high compression piston, and rev limiter. I could dominate the banshees on a short flat track. I'm thinking it will be pretty easy to squeeze some more top end speed out of the stock raptor. This should eliminate my disadvantage on the longer tracks. I do play in the sand dunes ocasionally and I know that there is nothing like a hopped up banshee in the sand. The shee I had (trinity 420 long rod, ported polished, FMF fatty pipes and more) was awsome in the sand. I definatly miss it in the dunes and I realize the raptor will never compare in the sand.
Thanks again !
