I received my Venom winch for my 06 Wolvy and it comes with a electrical contact block-see below. My question is where do you mount this? Do you mount it to the frame? on the back of the winch plate? under the seat? I know water isn't electricity's best friend so before i go cutting up power wire, I'd like to make sure i have it somewhere right first.

Anyone? It doesn't have to be Venom specific since it appears Warn users have the same kind of distribution block.

 

I mounted mine in my tool box on my 03 Wolverine..

 

i also put mine in the toolbox, clean and dry

 

I mounted mine under the front engine cover on my Polaris. I also used silicone inside the rubber boots to try to keep out the water. So far so good after one winter

 

I was trying to avoid taking up room in the tool box, but I solved that problem by ordering the yamaha six pack rack. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I installed my contactor under the seat because where it was before made it real dirty.

 

i put mine behind the front grill next to the radiator
