Hello All,

Yet another custom addition to my Grizzly 450. I bought the GYTR Front A-Arm Skids last summer AFTER I tore an inner CV boot. Trust me.. it wasn't any fun replacing that! I realized I didn't want to do that again and they do not provide adequate protection for the inner CV Boot. So I used my CAD (Card-board Assisted Design). To mock up some extensions. I went and bought some 1/8" 5052 AL from the local scrap house, had a buddy at work do up the Solidworks model and then had the shop cut and bend it up.. and well - you can see the results! Good Stuff!!

Just because I play a real CAD designer, I'll give you a 10 for your creativeness. I need to do the same thing for my floor boards before I rip them off... really soon.

I am an electrical engineer - I employ my mechanical engineer buddies to draw the stuff up in Solidworks..

Yea.. those blue Irwin clamps will match my blue wolvy just fine. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Maybe you should try to put a patten on them.that was a great idea.
