Default Friend's YFZ

My friend bought a used YFZ about a month ago. We took him to a place in Mississippi called Sand Hill ATV. Towards the end of the day it started cutting out on the top end. When he got it home he changed the spark plug and it worked fine for about two rides then it did it again. I dont think he changed the spark plug yet. I was thinking that the ignition wire connection was a little dirty and when he put the new plug in it made a better conncetion for a little while. Not too sure though. Any suggestions? All help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Drew

it sounds electrical. my freinds 660r did that, he had to get it re-wired. that was expensive.
