Default HOT RAPTOR

has anyone ever had a problem with the fan not working on a 660 raptor,and if so what did u do to fix it??????????????????????????????/

The first thing to check is if the fan works if you attach it directly to power. If the fan runs when connected directly to the battery or another power source, then the next in line for examination is the thermostat. (of course check the wiring for loose connections or corrosion if you haven't already done so).

the thermostat is good.i checked it in hot water with a meat probe.any other sugestions.

How about applying power directly to the fan like I said?

This is the simple way to find out if the fan is working or if it is a thermostat. You should be able to simply by-pass the thermostat and hear it run.

bought new fan,same thing.it does work direct,but thanks.



........................problem fixed ,there was a short in the wire going to fan cutout relay located under gas tank on left side
