Default 05 Grizzly 660 vs 07 Grizzly 660

Is there any major differences between the 05 and 07 grizzly. I'm looking to possibly buy one of the two, and the 07 is $600 more but the 05 has aftermarket rims and tires. Mileage and hours are about the same. Thanks!

660 wise I would say the answer is No major differences, I am sure the Grizzly 660 owners will chime in here... I know that the Kodiak IRS 450 / Grizzly 450 is basically unchanged over the years from 2003-2008. ( minor things at best, though for 2008 they did add a wet rear brake! - which is a nice improvment)

What are the aftermarket tires?

As far as hours go on Yamaha Quads - forget it... that meter is inaccurate at best... Why you ask? Well because if you leave your key on - the meter runs! So in my case, I have my GPS powered by the quad - which needs the key on. So when we stop for breaks I leave the key on so the hour meter ticks away. So I base all my services off of miles riden.

Didn't know that about the hour meter.

As for the two 660's I would go with the one that looks in better shape.

Thanks for the replies. The 07 is blue and looks like it was just driven off the showroom. The 05 is red, looks good and has aftermarket ITP rims with mudlites, that really set the quad off. They both look soo good it's a tough choice.

Just go by milage ,I bought a used 2001 over a 2005 because it was rode by the owner less. The 660 grizzly looks the same now as it did when it came out in 02.
