The epi kit is great if you dont want to be down about a week waiting on the machining to get done for the hauck performance clutch work. I did a write up on here when I intstalled mine. It is great for a lower end torque range(mainly if you like wheelies and taller tires.

The 488 kit in mine did require machining of the cases a little(can be done without splitting them(the extra 350 plus splitting the cases and more machine shop labor didnt seem worth the extra 12ccs that I would gain)

But the power from the bbk is awesome.

I am like you I flipped mine with only 12 miles on the clock just turning around on a dirt road.

The basic mods like listed above do help the power
GYTR or HMF exhaust
dynojet jet kit
and a good filter K&N or UNI

I have thought about shocks and even called elka but I decided I would rather have the bbk than the elkas.

But I can ride hard on mine and have the rear end out at 35--45 mph without having it catch on the dirt roads.

Elkas are not that expensive. Anyone can get the compression rebound and preload adjustable shocks for $2020. If you do not need them to be adjustable they are $1545. I just bought the elites with High speed and low speed compression adjustments they ran me $2100 because I had a 20% off coupon that I won racing in a local cross country series. I have not gotten them installed yet but I will let you all know how they work after the race this weekend. Works also make a replacement shock for the wolverine but after reading ATV scenes review on them I was not impressed. plus white blue and silver shocks would just clash with the 07se color scheme ;-)

I have the kenda bear claws on my old moto 4 250 and they wear like iron, they are a little rougher ride on hard pack but they will get a grip in about anything.

The perfex kit is made in Canada(I believe) by Hebco distributing.
I have heard of a few fitment issues in the past and that it take a while to get their stuff. But have heard a few people that really like their stuff.
