todd. i run a 91 because it still runs and Yamaha hasn't built ANYTHING that will run with it. As far as "antique" how new tech do you really think a four stroke is? Do you really know the history of your motor? Yamaha didn't make a "new" motor for the raptor. its so old they named it after a extinct animal!!! Back to the real question. "Banshee or ?" Everything out there is in a different class as the banshee. It was built to do one thing and do it well. Just like the street. You wouldn't want to run a V-Max on a road course would you? Same thing with the shee.

i love the state of california, i lived there for a while, but them strict bastards are the reason that zillas are not made anymore. if you thought that suzuki decided to stop making them then your sadley mistaking... they were OUTLAWED. yeah, they were so fast that people were known to out run cop cars on ones that were moderatly built up. yeah they blew up alot and yeah your foot gets sore trying to start them, but the truth is the zilla was too ahead of its time. if they were built now instead of back then, odds are nobody would say a damn thing. but the state of california was the first to say somthing about them, in the end they were discontinued all around. thats alright because now that their not made anymore, it just makes the ones out there more valueable. banshees will soon share the same fate....

i did have a article talking about a guy running from the cops on a zilla, he was ducking in and out of yards and trails, a seven hour pursuit with the quad moving at speeds close to 100mph. it was what started the whole california mess. hell if that guy was that desprate to get away he could have done it on a bicycle, dont blame suzuki for this guys great taste in quads...

The ATV may old design in terms of chassis and such but remember that engine came out of the RZ350 street bike which was a race bike for yamaha. The engine was peak technology for the time and 2 stroke technology in small engines was what the sport R&D was spent on then so I dont think the engine design is such a dinosaur.
Quadzilla will give you and your shee a good run for its money. I sure miss mine. But i got a CR500 street plated Supermoto so im getting by...

CTATV awsome zilla.... one of the all time best quads..... as far as this post.... drag racing shees are ok, 450's will get it, but don't really dig the whole raptor sector, its a grizzly motor with a sport bike frame, if i wanted that i'd go buy a used warrior, oh what i did, its not the fastest, but it's fun to ride, and all the parts are interchangable with my big bear...................YAHHHHHHHHHHHH
