Pro circuit pipe
#2
stfvr,
I've got one, initially because an 4-stroke MX guy recommended them, but also because I wanted to try something different. It did help bottom end, but I didn't get that much out of top. (didn't really expect to) Now I've got an FMF Powerbomb headpipe on it and it is getting even better. Neither manufacturer recommended jet changes, but I jetted to next step (145/150), and feel I need to go to 155/160 and definitely step up the pilot since it's moving more air. Without the Pro Flow filter, it wasn't as evident, but now I get hesitation just off idle. I think the new jetting will help. I don't want to go too far now and have to cut back in the spring and summer...been there too many times with a car. Anyway, the pipe is quite loud, especially without the arrestor screen. I ordered the quite screen as well, but it sounds like A$$ I thought, so I don't use it. I'd recommend the pipe, it's small in diameter, simple, well constructed, flow-through design, and mounts up very easily to the stock head pipe. Different end-caps can be ordered for tuning, but I've chosen the 2" open design...good luck on your hunt.

I like my procircuit, other than the pressure washer blowing the paint off, thats normal, especially fmfs, I polished mine with a jewlers rogue on a buffer wheel, its like a mirror now, I have the original end cap installed, the small one does help with bottom end on my wolverine, not sure on the raptor, if you want top end, just take the end cap off.(note: without an endcap the pipe cannot have a spark arrestor, or quiet baffle installed)I love mine, I noticed big gains with prodesign filter, and bigger main jet, I need to step up the pilot jet because the bottom end is a little lean. I like the way it sounds with the spark arrestor in, more so than without, without it sounds like a dg or cobra, but with it in it sound throaty and you can feel it rumbling in your chest. plus quality is A++
