yeah i haven't really had the time or money to start the mods on mine i'm hoping now that i have two of them that this summer i can do a little here and there on each one. that way i'll never have any down time. right now i'm looking for a truck and a trailer. possible thinking about finding an old conversion van and taking out the back seats and turning it into a custom hauler/sleeper. i guess we'll see how it goes.

yeah i have two and i figured i could put one inside. make some custom ramps that slide in and out of the bed of the van and then pull one of those small 4.8 utility trailers. then i could put the air matress inside when the 4wheeler isn't loaded and have something better to sleep on than the ground. the girl friend doesn't like the idea cause i keep saying i'm going to get a molester van

thats pretty good, but hey, if it works. you might be able to get a bigger one and fit 2 in the back, maybe, not sure.

I know what you mean, I want a old jeep, but I'm not paying $5000.00 for a 20 year old vehicle... And Yota's go the same way, unless you can find a grandpa that never drove his.

I had a 83, with the same motor, rebuilt it and it would pull a tank down,,,, it along with other things is something I wish I would have kept along the way.

I did the same thing you were talking about making a van into a sleeper/hauler. I bought an old 84 dodge maxi van, that's the longest one they make. I have the front captains chairs, the factory 2nd row bench seat, and a full size couch behind that. When the need arises to haul a machine inside the van I just take the couch out, and have tie down rings on the floor to keep the quad in place. It works out pretty well that way, much better than a truck in my opinion. All the gear stays dry and it it beats setting up a tent and sleeping on the ground.

I was thinking about selling it though, it gets 8 miles to the gallon and I was thinking about replacing it with an el camino or a small truck with a v8. Most of the riding I do is close to home and it's a pain in the *** to keep hooking up a trailer for these short trips. Wanna buy a pimped out dodge for $1,200? Neon lights inside and out, flowmaster dual side exit exhaust, all kinds of good stuff.

Check it out.
