Its definitely possible to put a motorcycle engine in a quad frame, thats actually one of my projects right now. All you need is some mechanic know-how and know your way around a MIG welder. Also take alot of measurements of the engine and engine compartment so you know exactly where you'll be mounting the engine. Its also a good idea to keep a project journal, to keep record of measurements, parts and progress. I'm building mine for general purpose, just an excuse to not buy a new quad.

I have 3 questions first how are the rear set up on these rhinos from whar i can see in the vids they look like the rears on Polaris outlaw IRS. Second can these be made to be 4x4 again that would be great for mud bogging. Third does anyone know were u can get more pics or info on these rhinos.</end quote></div>
The rear drive is a chain drive with CV axles, like the Outlaw. Most have manual transmissions and no reverse. A few people have used the Aztec 1 liter snowmobile engine in a Rhino, so they have kept the CVT transmission. I don't know of any 1 liter conversions that retain 4 wheel drive, although the 800cc outlander engine has been swapped in, and does have 4 wheel drive. And I'm sure you could swap in the Thunder Cat 1 liter v-twin and retain 4 wheel drive. Being able to buy a Thunder Cat engine for less than the cost of a Rhino would be a good trick though. Arctic Cat is mighty proud of their Thunder Cat.
Weller Racing in Arizona does the 1 liter motor swaps on Rhinos, and they race one in best in the desert races. They have a kit they sell for the conversion. Another site that is good for Rhino mod info is rhinoforums.net

Installing a motorcycle motor in a quad?
All it takes is a welder, cutting tools and
some spare steel and be smart enough
to be able to mock-up the setup, if you
have to ask these questions you are way
out or your league.
I know a guy who owned a snowmobile junk yard and he put in a 1000CC Fazer motor in a polaris quad that came with a 250cc motor originally. I drove it and it was fun to a round 60mph until the chasis & tires were at their limit and the thing started to get front tire shake etc.
The moral of my story is there is more to dropping in an bigger engine and expecting to go big speeds without other major changes to the stock machine.
