I might go for the 700 doing 80 with higher gears or possibly going downhill or wound out with a real small rider. I used a GPS to determine the speeds on my slower quads. Im really guessing on the LT500R at the speeds it went I didnt want anyone beside me in a car and sure wasnt letting go with one hand to hang on to my GPS. I tried to strap it to the tank but it froze up on me probly to close to the elctronics. It was modded, geared higher than stock and would wind up until I backed off si Im guessing conservatively 80MPH 90 wouldnt have surprised me but no way to prove it. Im not really interested in going that fast again its out of my system now. 80 on a quad is like running a 25hp on a 12ft Jonboat it still wont go fast compared to a car or a big speed boat but is still an intense ride cause its just not made to do it and if something goes wrong its gonna be bad.

I love these threads. Everybody thinks their stock warrior or raptor 350 will do 70, or 80 with a couple mods. Ain't no way. I had a long list of aftermarket parts on my warrior, taller gearing, and I needed a strong tailwind to hit 68. Stock a warrior barely gets over 60 with the right conditions, and the raptor 350 is about 63-64 stock. Tom M is right, speeds always get converted into a strange unit of measurement known as internet speed. In internet speed my raptor does 100 and my car does 175. That's just following the basic internet rule of adding about 20 - 25% to what the speedometer says.

Being that I have owned a warrior for a long time, one with a good many mods, and have a mostly stock raptor 700 i'll tell you one thing. The top speed of a stock 700 is a hell of a lot higher than my warrior was with taller gearing, high compresison piston, ported head, edelbrock carb, hmf exhaust, and pro design intake.

87warrior, just think about this for a second, before you continue to make an *** of yourself. The top speed of a stock raptor 700 with the speed limiter removed is about 80 mph. The stock 700 makes about 46-48 horsepower. Let's take a quick glance at your warrior for a second. The stock horsepower of a warrior is about 20, being generous. with your mods you are looking at about 23 - 24 horsepower, right around half of a stock 700. Also take into this equation that the raptor 700 has less wind resistance, and is geared a lot taller. A lot taller. And now try to imagine how that warrior, with half the power, lower gearing, and more wind resistance, is going to go JUST AS FAST as the 700!!! Something just doesn't add up here at all. You can say that your buddy's radar gun said 80 as much as you want, but that doesn't change the fact that you're wrong, and a warrior such as yours is incapable of such speeds.

Wait wait wait, I do remember one time that I got my warrior up to 95. My brother's 250ex was right beside it. Oh, nevermind, that was when it was ON THE TRAILER BEING TOWED BY MY VAN!!!

Last time I saw it was 153 mph on a totally worked raptor 660 with a rocket strapped to the back - yes, a real rocket. That was a few years ago, so it may be even higher now.

i belive my neighbor said his warrior will hit around 72, but it has been stripped down and re done from the ground up. hes got i think around 9 grand in it. he only paid 3000 for it so you can imagine six grand worth of extras. if he had put that much into a banshee he would break 80 in no time. my neighbors warrior wont hit 80, so a few mods aint enough or even close enough to hit 80.

My kfx 450 only ran 75 on the dyno with minor mods and larger front sprocket. Not buying the 350 anywhere above 65.
