Default raptor 660 engine cuts out

I went to the oklahoma dunes this weekend with my 2004 660 raptor. It was running great but after a couple hours the engine started to miss out a little. I turned the tank to reserve thinking I was running out of gas but the problem continued. eventually the engine stopped and would not start. The engine would crank but there was no fire. after waiting for about 45 minutes for a tow I tried to start it and it fired right up, but only ran about 100 yards before dying and once againg would not start. After a couple of hours of sitting it runs great. I don't know if it is possibly over heating, a carb prob or what. I just kind of want to know where to start looking for the problem. It's not the vent on the gas cap, we opened the gas cap to check the fuel and it still would not fire.

Default raptor 660 engine cuts out

Hey Bro, Where are you from? Are you from Ok? Sounds like your at a differnt elevation level. Sounds like you're getting too much fuel. Check your spark plug. I'm guess it's black and gummed up. I've had this problem little bit when traveling. Different Sea Levels will screw your air/fuel mixture up bad. Hope this helps! Take Care and Ride Hard!
