Default yamaha warriors are great

i dont get why every one is saying warriors suck my warrior will keep up with built banshees and i can beat stock one. only quad that has beat me was a crazy banshee here is what i did to my 1987 warrior: stroker kit, stage 1 hotcam, pro circuit silencer, fmf powerbom header, Keihin carb, new valves springs, Head Ported, Pro Flow Air Cleaner Kit. Warriors just need to be with the right person

The warrior is a good solid machine. The things seem to run forever. Compared to the alternative in there class like the 400ex and suzuki 400 they are just not up to par. Under powered and suspensions not the greatest.

As for yours it is not the typical warrior now is it? It has a lot of $ dumped in it and I'm sorry but, just can't believe it will keep up with a modded 'Shee. I may be wrong I've never seen a warrior with a stroker and ported head and all that but, I have seen slightly modded 'shee's smoke piped 450's and 700r's.

Yamaha Warriors were great - before the 400EX came out. It has been downhill for the Warrior since then. Then came the Raptor 660, then the 450's, the the 700's.......................The Warrior seemed to keep getting slower, and slower, and slower.
