I have a buddy that want's to sell me his 02 big bear 2 wheel drive. It's well used but it runs good and has no major damage. I will probably need to put a carb kit on it and it has some front end dings but thats about it. It's pretty much stock. I don't want to over pay but he is a frind so I'm willing to pay what it's worth, what do you think ?

Thats retail what a dealer would sell it for, cleaned up running basically perfect condition.. 2100-2300 should be fair IMO...

np... don't listen to todd, my wife has a 250 bruin..UGLY even smaller atv and yes 2wd..that thing manages to go through some stuff that amazes me every time she goes riding....I can only imagine the big bear 400 is that much better.

hehe sorry..But 2 grand and it needs some work,not a good deal IMO..But those ugly little suckers are great for kids to put around on..Depending on what it needs,I'd say 1000 to 1500,he wont get more anywhere else..

 

todd you owned an ugly *** 03 wolverine and have the nerve to talk smack about a Big Bear.
