I wiped out on the Raptor and need to replace the right side splash guard (the one that attaches to the footpeg.) According to my dealer, the splash guard and plastic are not available. In my Chapparal Racing catalog, they have AC Racing nerf bars with intrgral splash guards mounted on a 400ex. I would be interested in them for my Raptor, but can't find any info on them. Does anyone know where I can find this out?

 

Are you talking about the black plastic that attatches from the rear fender to the footpegs? If so I'll sell you mine cheap. Is the metal bracket that the plastic screwed messed up? The reason being is that I took mine off when I installed my Graydon nerf bars. I had to cut that metal bracket so I could keep part of it to hold the master cylinder fluid. I have AC Nerfs on my 400ex, and they seem to be of good quality, and also extremely light.

 

I have the AC racing pro-peg nerfs (they come with footpegs). They are designed to use the stock heel guards. You need the right side one to hold the rear brake reservior in place.
