Default idle speed on 07 wolverine

alright so my wolvy will only run with the choke all the way out and even then i cant give it more then half throttle or else it will sputter like its running on fumes of gas. does anyone know how to change the idle speed back to normal on this?

on the left side you'll see a big phillips head screw that looks like it's going into a hose going to the other side of the carb. you might want to consider cleaning your carb. there are a few others of us having that same problem. one of my wolvies is doing the same thing and i just havent got to messing with the idle i'm going back into it this weekend good luck let me know how it works

well i can tell you the idle speed is suspossed to be between 1450 and 1550 rpms.
But that doesnt tell you what your problem is. I will try to check the manual tonight and see what it says, maybe the rev limiter kicking in?

i'm pretty sure it's not the idle because every one of our wheelers ran fine until the carb gnomes got to them. if you put the idle to high it wont stay put.

i messed with the wolvy finally. i drained the gas tank out... a bunch of little pieces of plastic came out. that fixed the idle problem but i still can't give it more then half thottle or it will pop nd sputter. i blowed some air shrough the gas line nd through the carberator hole with and air compressor to see if that would do something but it didn't. the last thing i did was try to clean out the carb. i got the two screws out so i can turn it but theres this one screw that i couldn't get to turn because the screw driver wouldn't catch the grooves on it and it was a real tight place to get the screwdriver into so after about 50 trys i finally decided to take it in this week because if it wasn't the carb then idk what it is and they have the tools to take the carb out and the good thing is is that its still under warranty so i don't have to worry about dealing with those high prices the dealer charges. so probably at the end of this week it will be all fixed.

Thanks for everyone's help by the way

P.S. i jus bought a hitch for it.. on rockymountainatv.com they don't sell it but if you go to your local dealer they can order it straight from yamaha
