i figured out my problem. it boils down to i was eating retard sandwhiches that day and when i cleaned the crab i swapped the two main jets. the 70 and the 131. which after about three days the light came on and i was like i bet thats what it is. i fixed it last night and she's running like a champ

ok...I gotta be the one to do this. Better in what way? Because the older ones are slower, dont handle as well, have a smaller motor, dont look as good (in my opinion), and have full time 4x4?

I was just joking,I think all Wolverines are very nice machines and I agree with all your points except the last one,any Wolvy owner that does not have a 424 by now has his head in the clouds lol.But...I must say the older ones have a very big plus the new ones don't...Manual Shift,Yamaha screwed that one up big time,Plus I think the shaft drive is more reliable then the belt drive..

i will agree i'm not a fan of the belt drive and i don't own or have ever riden an older wolverine so it's not my place to judge there are times i wish mine was a manual but then when i'm stuck in the mudd and i realize how much it would suck to have to shift. yeah thats just me.
