Default 1999 Bear Tracker Questions

I have acquired a 1999 Bear Tracker. It seems to run just fine. My husband seems to think there is gas leaking from the bottom of the bowl. Any ideas why this would be happening?
Also when on a hill I can't figure out how to brake the atv. Even in gear it still rolls. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

O.K. so I am really dumb here. I don't know a thing about any of this. Are you saying this is normal or do we have a problem? If so what do we need to do to fix it? Also, thanks for the really fast reply.

The carb needs to be taken apart and cleaned it is a problem. If you never have done it before you might want to have someone do it. Or if you feel good get a manual for your quad and it will help you.
