Default Yamaha motor ticking

Hi, I just bought my first quad and know very little about them. There is a ticking noise in the top of the engine that gets louder as the bike warms up. It also seems to be something leaking on top of the head in the front. Even after the head is warm the front top stays wet. Can someone help me out on this please.

Ticking may indicate the valves need adjusted. I have a T-wolf that ticks even when correctly adjusted, but runs fine. Is the leak from the valve cover O ring. A cheap and easy fix. Order new O rings when you adjust the valves, and grease them when you install them and tighten the cover back down

the 350's are tough motors, I've never had a prob with my Wolverine, just keep changing the oil often and it will last a long time.
