hello i have a 1996 yamaha banshee with what i think is still the stock exhaust. We are the secound owner and i was wondering if the stock exhaust for this year of a banshee came stock wiht a spark arrestor of any kind. I was pulled over this weekend and given a 160 doller ticket so i need to know if it came with or without one or my exhaust isn't stock. Thank you very much.

 

is the pipes black, round, and have little noodle looking turn downs? if so most likely there stock i dont think they have spark arrestors, just resonators, and like a little baffle piece but i cud be wrong

 

see that is where i also have a question because i have seen banshee's that come with dual exhaust like only newer ones though. Mine have 2 to 1 and the muffler is like a silver can kn=inda looking thing.

 

all stock banshees came with black ugly looking exhuast, 2-1 is after market and probably doesnt have a sparky

 

yea...if its not black and theres only one pipe in the rear end its aftermarket, shee's came stock with big ugly headers and dumb lookin black silencers every year, i dno wut it cud be, no symbols or numbers, letters? im thinking maybe DG crap wud make a pipe like that or something...lol
