MIwolvy got a new quad!
I got an offer to buy my bruin last week, and after about 2 seconds of thinking about it...I jumped on the offer.
I have had the idea of a Raptor in my head for the past few months, but with the recent purchase of my RZR...those plans were put on hold. Well, now that the bruin is gone, I had the extra room in the garage and an excuse to buy a new quad! lol
Here it is:
It is a brand new 07 Raptor 700R GYTR edition. It was a leftover 07 model at the dealership, so I got it for an awesome price ($5999)...it had 0 miles on it, and wasn't even prepped yet. I'm not a huge fan of the color, but for the price...I couldn't pass it by.
and with the other toys:
I'm still going to hang on to the wolverine for the 4x4 capabilities, but I probably wont be spending a whole lot of time on it. I used to think the wolvy was fairly quick, well...that was before I rode the Raptor. I cant even explain the difference, this thing stock has so much more torque and pulls so much harder that its like stepping up from a bicycle to a Yamaha R1.
It is all stock right now, but I will have some new wheels and tires by this weekend (ITP SandStars on SS112s chrome wheels). After a while, I will be adding the big 3 (pipe, fuel controller, and intake) but I'm in no rush...Its going to take a while to get used to the power as it sits now.
Just thought I would share,
Kyle

Now you have to get un-lazy and shift gears again.
congrats on the score.

I just picked up the wheels and tires today, but I'm at the hotel now ( at the dunes) so I won't be able to post pics until Sunday.
The GYTR edition has different graphics, the polished gytr front bumper, and gytr heel guards...I think thats it, but I could be wrong.
I think the white plastics will hold up good actually, I'm pretty much only going to ride it in the sand. For mud and that type of riding, I will ride the wolverine or RZR.
