Default 2001 warrior starting problem

I have a problem with no fire to the plug.Has new plug.Tested the orange wire from the CDI to the coil and no volts. Is there a safty switch some where that could be bad.
I had to cut the brake switch wires at the clutch lever to get it to run last winter. Now the starter turn over but wont fire up even on strating fluid.
HELP PLEASE

you try testing your stator? im not sure if the cdi tells the coil to fire or if the stator does....cant remember, theres a better chance your stator would go bad before a cdi thats not very common...make sure the boot on your ign. coil isnt messed up.

Thanks ,I will try checking that in the morning.Going to try checking all the conections first. The last time it was running I had to have a charger it to get it to start. So it could well be a stator. My Clymer manual should tell you to test the stator.

I am leaning towards the CDI.From the looks of the manual the fire to the coil comes from the CDI.The Stator looks to be on another circut.I Think I will get a ProComp CDI off Ebay and go from there.
Thanks for the help.

I had a weak to no spark condition and it was my stator. The repair manual basically states that if everything else works it must be the cdi because there is no way to actually test it.
