i am srriousley thinking about getting a set of realters for my quad. i wanna run them in the sand direction all the time cuz i ride in a lot of sand but i also ride trails and hard pack and a little bit of pavement too. will this tear them up? will it be really bumpy? i hear their really heavy and suck up power. how much power am i gonna lose? how much will they slow me down? how good do they wear? i want spome tires that will last a while. my current rears are: 22-11-10. the size realters i want is: 22-12-10. what do you think?

I ran a set of them on my banshee, they did alright. i ran them both ways and didn't really notice much of a difference. they are great in the mud and snow, we don't have much sand up here. you should be fine with the power department. People say they rob power because they are a big tire but you have a set of fairly big tires now so it won't change much.

You won't be disappointed, I have them on my 400ex and love them. I ride on soft ground and mudd, and snow, and a little sand but not often. They are great.

i should also mention i'm gonna start racing this summer. nothing big just small ameture tracks or whatever. no really big jumps or anything. will realters be ok? i know their not the best choice for racing but will they work? i don't wanna have to buy 2 sets of tires.

I got some for my bike a month ago and love them. Stock tire and rim is 16#, Douglas rim with Realter is 23#. They are heavy, but the traction is incredible. Good Luck with your choice.
