Default Can I tow it?

I'm looking at a new Grizzly 450 with the auto tranny to replace an older Suzuki for my farm machine. I often tow a scooter out to the fields behind a tractor so I can catch a ride back to the yard. I'm wondering if there is anything that ain't right about towing an automatic transmission. What turns inside when the engine isn't?

I don't see why that would hurt the tranny as long as you had it in nuetral. I would not worry about the tranny.

As the years go by... that is the way all the Util quads are going... especially the larger engines w/Yamaha all 450's and up Util quads are CVT - Autos.

If it is just a farm machine - you might want to look into the Big Bear 400 IRS -- Nice machine that is a Manual 5 Speed just like your Zuki. Still quite capable!

I have a Grizzly 450 and love it!

if it was me and its a farm machine, i'd go with the grizzly, you already have tons of stuff you have to shift, unless you have all hydrostatic trannys.... the CVT trannys on the new quads are pretty bullet proof, just as long as you don't sink it, but from your origional post the hualing won't be a issue....
