what do theses bearings look like?Is it commons for the bearings on the starter gears to come apart?Abuddy of mine found some small needle looking bearings in his oil on his 97 warrior</end quote></div>
I wouldent think this guys Starter or cluch Problem would be the needle Bearings your asking.
My guss would be Needle Bearings From The Conecting Rod , or Under the Wrist Pin , on the bottom of the Piston.
But i could be wrong..

i believe most small engines dose have needle bearings , on the wrist pin as well as conecting rod[s] .
you can check that fairly easy you know w/out takeing anything majour apart.
just remove the sparkplug , place a screwdriver on top of piston and hold it and manuly turn over engine slowly, If you Feel Like something is To Loose , or get get a Bumpy Kinda Feeling , or real Sloppy: you know that 1 of them Bearings is shot , Now That test will only Do the Conecting rod & Wristpin Bearing. But at least you will know.
As normal bearings should be smooth and firm feeling on the piston , and thier should not be much wiggle on the piston.
