WHAT IS TOP SPEED FOR A BRAND NEW BONE STOCK '98 BANSHEE?

 

76MPH at 6950rpm.

This goes for all banshees.

Banshees go anywhere from 71-73mph.

 

My bone stock 99 Banshee when 74 stock

 

No faster than 75 miles per hour on a good level smooth road.

 

Probably 100 - 115. But that's on ice. With better traction, oh... say on cement I am sure I can get at least 150mph!!

 

Twinshot, I think your on some Ice. Lay off the crack pipe ummm kay drugs are bad.

 

I dunno where scramdaddy got the 6950 RPM thing as that is just over half the RPM potential of a shee but my banshee will do 80+ on a try lake bed near my home with the best being 83. It has the following mods:

Toomey Pipes
Prodesign Air Cleaner / No Lid
.030 off the head
Mild Porting
Everything else is stock

Its fast enough for u! u should stick with your 300ex. that away i can be a little faster than you. but if go with the banshee, u know that i wanna ride it.

 

my bike is a 98 with toomey t5's and pro design/k&n setup. i also use an alba airbox lid. my main jets are 280s and my needles were supplied by toomey. on a summer day, at about 90 degrees, my banshee topped out at 86.

i dont care what anybody claims for their top speed, fictional or not...80+ mph is plenty fast to be dodging ditches and trees. and really, guys...80+ feels like 100 mph when you arent on pavement.
