Default warrior front brake caliper question

Ok, tried doing a search on this but found nothing. My front brake calipers on my 87 warrior are pretty much shot. So I was wondering if any year warrior's calipers would work on my 87?

Default warrior front brake caliper question

Hi there Welcome to the forum!

From my quick searching.. seems that the calipers are the same for 87 and 88 warriors. I went to Yamaha-motor.com and looked at the parts break down... then onto Bikebandit.com to see if you can still get them new - looks like you can - though you would want to call.. and they are $200 each! ouch!

What is exactly wrong with them? They frozen? You might be able to do a rebuild on them....

They seem dry rotted, the bike has been sitting for a while. I can't afford 200 dollars for a caliper so I'll see if I can come across some deals on Ebay. Thanks for doing the research for me!

If the Caliper is just frozen --- you should be able to get seals and rebuild them.. there isn't much to them.... pretty easy actually...
