I seem to have my Raptor pretty dialed in, it has a big improvement over stock. Do any of yall think that i would benefit from the Dyno jet kit. Have any of you installed it on an already pretty good tuned Raptor?was there much difference? enough to warrant the purchasing of this product

If your's feels stronger than stock, no burbles, and the plug's good, stay there...that's the reason we buy things like the Dynojet kit. I just didn't want to go through the jetting process. I've done it a lot on cars (and they're easy to get to) but after the first change, I knew I didn't have the patience to do my Raptor. The kit worked well, as far as I can tell. It's worth the $90 to me.

I agree with raptorup. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I too didn't want to go through the guessing game, that's why I bought it.

Can you give a description of the jets included in the Dynojet kit?

I have not purchased a kit yet, but how do you remove the needle from the slide? there is a light grey plastic "keep" holding things together. what is the removal procedure? Does the kit come with more detailed instructions and scinarios?

It pulls out. Use a pair of needle nose pliers.

Not wanting to mess with the carbs, I had my dealership do it. They charged 1.5 hours per carb. Ouch! But the end result is well worth it, I think :-)

Hey No2StrokeBs, why are you already selling your Raptor? I'll buy some of your a/m parts if you want to sell them seperately? Do you not like it? What's the scoop?

I really need to sell everything with the bike. Its not that i dont like it, its a great quad, but everyday i grow more and more disappointed with it.I have spent over 1k in aftermarket parts on it and only now will it even begin to hang with my 99 Banshee that only has pipes on it.I am going to go back to what i have bought all along, a 90 Quadzilla.I know that the Raptor will jump and handle a lot better, but most of my racing is done in a straight line. And the Raptor will never be able to hang with the 500.It makes me really mad that the Magizines didnt tell it like it is.I bought my Raptor 4 months before it even came out and i was under the impression that it was the fastest one out there. It is a strong quad, dont get me wrong, but it is nowhere near as fast as i was led to believe.
