I have bought a 1998 yamaha grizzly with a ton of miles. Its kind of a pos, but the price was right. anyway, after riding for a bit, it seems to get very hot. if you stop and sit there idling for a bit, the heat is just profusely pouring out from under the tank and engine area. is this normal for the bigger cc air/oil cooled machines. my last atv was much smaller 300cc fourtrax. also looking for a front bumper and front and rear racks.
thanks for any help

Grizzlys do run kinda hot. I think there was updated side covers that is suposed to help some. It really sucks when you hit the first water hole and the steam singes the hair off your legs.
I think warn makes a bumper. I don't know of anyone who sells aftermarket front and rear racks. You can order them from yamaha but they atr not cheap.
Hope this helps
