My 99 wolverine has low compression and here is my question. If it doesn't blow smoke (blue smoke at least) would that mean it is a valve adjustment issue or perhaps a leaking head gasket. Because the way I'm thinking is that if it was the rings or the piston that it would be smoking like a freight train. Either that or its just my wishful thinking. The original problem was a lack of high end power as in the top end of any gear to the point that it didn't want to climb hills it should have been able to fly up. Any help as far a a direction to look would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Could be damage to the valves as well I would guess.
