Problem Starting yfz 450

05 yamaha yfz450

It turns over but it does not start. Plug is getting spark, getting gas. I do have a kill switch hooked up, and everything is hooked up right. card is clean and jetted 2 specs....Any ideas??????

hows the compression is it tight when u kick it? if its electric startuse a compression tester. also ive had friends whove had probs on there yfzs w/flywheel key shiering in half skrewing the timing.

I have a yfz450 Quad it has a electric start not a kick.....

ok, many of them do hav kick starters, i dont no y, but they do. did u check those possible problems yet?

One quick thing to try is to just drain the carb bowl. After any YFZ450 sits in our shop for more than two weeks they dont start well unless you drain the bowl. Hope this helps.
