PRM sells a skid that covers the entire length of the swingarm and protects the shock linkage also. They come in .190 or .250 thickness and are great on rock/rut infested trails. I have destroyed a few AC .190's over the years. In all fairness to AC, I ride hard and have been a few places a YFZ shouldn't really go. The full PRM is definitely the tougher of the 2 IMHO.

I've heard alot of good things about PRM. Do you know where the best place to get a PRM?

You will be happy with that one. Keep her well fastened and it will probably last as long as you own the quad.

I have had good luck with the Richochet / bulletline skids.

Also a good looking skid. The one he purchased has more coverage and is a lot less likely to dig into the mud/ruts and hang him up though
