Default New 550 Grizzly sightings

I'm not sure they are going to sell out fast..nor am I sure calling it a better machine based upon a cylinder wall being thicker..

If your spending $7799 (MSRP) only 10% more will get you the 700. Some may look at this as a deal, others may not. I personally think the 550 should be more than $800 less than the 700 if they were going to be flying out the door.

On the other hand a 700cc (686) machine isn't always needed and the 550 should be fine in anything it does. Sure it won't get to 60mph as fast as the 700..but who cares..I still haven't got my 700 above 50mph..I just don't need to, maybe I ride in the wrong places for going 65mph.

Either way it looks to be a great mid class ATV. I just think they should have chopped some price off of it thats all.

The 550 is only $400 less than the brute force 750..
It is more than the 650i by $400
$200 more than the kingquad 750
$200 less than the Sportsman 800 efi
All the prices above are for 09 models..

Yeah I think we all would like to see that... but remember also this is suggested retail prices, and nobody pays retail... Not in this economy. I think they have a winner here. I guess time will tell.

I understand nobody pays MSRP but I would think when comparing the MSRP of two machines the difference may be similiar after you get the dealer to come down on price.

Time will tell like you said.. I'll be happy to see more Grizzlies out on the trail regardless

I wonder what the fuel millage diff will be between the 550&700 not that the 700 is bad or anything?
