i recently was given a project Blaster from a friend and i want to do a total engine rebuild to it. i was thinking about racing the quad but I'm not sure what parts to use or what i need to get that thing out on the track. it's got the standard 200cc engine nothing performance to it so i'll be starting from scratch. please give me some links and a starting point or just what i basically need to get that thing running and on the track.

well dont get the 240 kit cuz it will kick you out of a class, but a bigger carb, vitos piston, vito carbon reeds, k&N filter, vito degree key, works,PEP,elka suspension, toomey pipes,ported, polished,milled head, just a few things.

I'm not actually looking to race like the professionals im looking for more of racing my friends but being able to kick their ***. i really dont know much about the engine so from ground up with with a stock 200 block what exactly do i need to make this thing like a dart?

 

91Warrior357 is right on the money. If you send me a PM I would like to give you a number of my engine dude that gets alot of HP out of the Blasters. I am not sure where you are located but a phone call is cheap and I think that he would be willing to help you out.
