front engine sprokket for warrior
#1
i have a warrior and it seam like the front sprokket thing that attaches the chain to the engine is to small.. the warrior has a lot of tourque it seems like so i was thinking about putting a 14 tooth or mabye a 15tooth sprokket on. i think that it has a 13tooth (stock) just when i ride it seems like it could go a lot faster.
just wondering if any one had any info

yea a stock warrior goes around 55 stock and a 13 is the stock size, im guessing you have 20 inch tires too which will slow ya down a lil, but i wouldnt go bigger than a 15 tooth. a 14 will give a little more top end but just remember that it wont be able to accelerate as fast.

I would keep the stock rear (40 I think) and change the front to a 14 tooth. 15 is too big unless you have a built engine. The 14 tooth will take away from the bottom-end torque, but will add 2-3 MPH to your top speed, plus you can use 1st gear more in tight trails and you can wind the gears out longer before shifting. The 14 tooth works much better if you have a slip-on pipe, filter, jetting and 20" rear tires.

as long as it says it should fit then it should work, renthal,JT,RK are nice, id stay away from moose and parts unlimited and theres a few other brands on ebay that im not sure of how good they are, as far as removing it its easy just leave it in gear and take the nut off and it will come right off
