Trying to decide which one to buy for my older son. He over 6' tall now and still growing which means he will even put on more weight in the near future. So my question is should I buy the 700 for more cc's or the 450? Any info is helpful. Thanks!

has he ever ridden either, i'm 6ft tall and about 200, and i bought the 700. it fit me better, and for general trail riding its an awesome ride. I've had it a year and really like it so far.

No but he has experience on the Raptor 660 version which is relatively the same. I personally prefer the EFI myself, but I can get a smokin deal on either one. Thanks

Go with the Raptor, especially if he's not done growing!

They Raptor is not much bigger if it actually is bigger at all than the 450. I ride a 450 and I'm 6'2". Bro is 6'5"-6'6" and rides a 450. Like I said the 700 seems the same size to me, don't let that be a factor.

Raptor is better for slower trails than the 450. 450 is light weight and more fun for jumping or track riding. That's about what it comes down to. Power wise the 700 has an ever so slight edge.

Either one would be fine, I'm 6' 1" and I like the 700's better because they have reverse and are a little more comfortable than the 450. Plus in my area it seems the used 700's are holding their value alot better than the used 450's.
