Hello, I'm new to the forum..

My name is Katie and I live in Fort Worth Texas. I bought my Raptor 700 in April and have had a blast with it ever since.

I've got about 20 hours on it so far and 1 spill... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] Not a bad one just silly that it happened on my part...

Since the spill I've had a little noise (what I think to be clutch noise) like a windling out even though I'm not giving it full throttle.. Any thoughts?

I've not had a good chance to get her back out in the dirt so the little I've ridden has been around the block at home just to start her up.. That's when I noticed the noise.

I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions before taking it in for service.

How many times have you changed your oil and how many hrs on this one?

Some people are hard on clutchs and others are not. but yea your clutch could be gone. Probaly should pull it out and measure your fibers to see what the wear is on them? I assume you have already checked your freeplay and adjusted it?

 

I've got a little less then 20 hours total ride time.

The play is perfect for me the shifting is great, I've just got this whining noise that is causing me to worry.

I have yet to change the oil that's next on my long list of things to do. I'm up for the following checks and changes...

Clutch
Front & rear brakes
Wheels
Wheel bearings
Drive chain
Fittigs and fasterners
Steering systems
Engine Oil / Filter
Cooling system
