Default 2008 Raptor 350 Jetting closed lid K&N Filter

I need help with the correct jetting for my 2008 Raptor 350.

I installed a K&N Air Filter, closed lid and running below 3,000 feet.

At low revs the engine fails.

Thanks for any replies....

Hey welcome to the forums.

What exactly do you mean "engine fails"? Did you put an exhaust on? If not you shouldn't need to rejet.

Koopa thanks for the response.

When I run at low revs, the engine sputters, I have the original exhaust on.

I did some research and for a change in air filter (level one) I should get a jet kit.

I only want to buy the correct jet, not the entire kit.

Thanks for the help...

I just put a k&n on my warrior and keep the lid on. I adjusted the jet needle to make it a little richer and it runs great. Try doing this first and if your not satisfied then put out the money

Wise decision I do the same however, low speeds will be controlled by the slow jet up to 1/4 throttle (with some needle intervention) then the needle up till half throttle.

I'd take bassballs818 advice and adjust the needle one clip before changing the main. If you get any backfire on the top end that will be your indication to change the main.
