Koopa thanks for the response.
When I run at low revs, the engine sputters, I have the original exhaust on.
I did some research and for a change in air filter (level one) I should get a jet kit.
I only want to buy the correct jet, not the entire kit.

Wise decision I do the same however, low speeds will be controlled by the slow jet up to 1/4 throttle (with some needle intervention) then the needle up till half throttle.
I'd take bassballs818 advice and adjust the needle one clip before changing the main. If you get any backfire on the top end that will be your indication to change the main.
