What does everyone pay for theft insurance on their quads? I know rates will vary all over the country, but I would like to get a ball park number. We are going to keep our new raptor in our barn at our ranch, so I obviously would like some extended protection.

Thanks

Here in Manitoba we have what's referred to as "public insurance".

To insure my '07 450 for theft, fire and vandalism costs about $160 per year.

I have collision, theft, fire and prop damage and I pay $275 a year.. it was $235 a year.. but well.. I made a claim for $750 last year... hehehe.. so since I am ahead of the game... I didn't mind a mere $40 increase..

ah.. I forgot to mention.. I have a $250 deductible... only $40 difference over the $500 deductible... so worth it to me... especially since I have already used it once ...

Collision adds another $120 to $140 to the theft/fire/vandalism bill and I wish I had taken it even with $500 deductible. Seems like a bargain now compared to the $3K.

I getting it as soon as I get the serial # thing straightened out with my frame replacement.

Yea.... in the grand scheme of things.. worth it... as if you all recall... from last summer... I literally Rolled my Quad 3 HOURS after I got the insurance

But the Agency took pictures the afternoon I signed the policy...
